Milbemax is used for the treatment and control of roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms and prevention of heartworm in dogs and puppies over 2 weeks of age.

Milbemax Tablets for Dogs 0.5 to 5kg:
0.5 to 1kg – 1/2 tablet;
1kg – 5kg – 1 tablets;
5kg – Use Milbemax All Wormer Tablets for Dogs over 5kg (Also available)

Control of gastrointestinal worms:

Milbemax Tablets for Large Dogs should only be given to dogs over 5kg. For puppies use Milbemax Tablets for Small Dogs. Treat puppies at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks of age, then every 3 months. Lactating dogs should be treated at the same time as their puppies. Adult dogs should be treated every 3 months.

Heartworm prevention:
Milbemax Tablets must be administered every month, preferably on the same date each month. If the interval between tablets is longer than a month by less than 7 days , Milbemax Tablets should be administered immediately and the monthly dosing schedule resumed. If the interval between tablets is longer than a month by more than 7 days, a veterinarian should be consulted before recommencing Milbemax Tablets dosing schedule.
